Colgate

The 1978 renovation plans for Huntington Gymnasium included provision for this concept. An architect, Ted Rulf of Liverpool, N.Y., was hired in September, 1978, and the "dream" became a reality. The committee has captured the highlights of over one hundred years of athletics and, through slide presentations and photo murals, has turned this area into a living history of Colgate's greatest team and individual performances. The Class of 27 has provided for posterity the opportunity to understand and feel the traditional "spirit that is Colgate". It is within this tradition that we honor a Colgate woman and four Colgate men who today enter the Colgate Athletics Hall of Honor.
