Chones Named Patriot League Freshman Of The Week

HAMILTON, N.Y. Colgates Kendall Chones has been named the Freshman of the Week in the Patriot League for the second straight week after leading the mens basketball team to a 75-66 victory over Lafayette. It was Lafayettes first league setback of the season.
In his fifth straight start for injured senior Howard Blue, Chones tallied 12 points and nine rebounds, missing his second straight double-double by one carom. Averaging just under 20 minutes per game this season, Chones has contributed 7.1 points and 4.6 boards for the Raiders.
