Fanta Named to Patriot League All-Tournament Team

WEST POINT, N.Y. (11/23/09) – Meghan Fanta (Hillsboro, Wisc.) represented Colgate on the 2009 Patriot League Volleyball all-tournament team, it was released late Sunday evening.
Fanta dished out 18 assists and tallied three digs as the Raiders fell in three to American in the second semifinal match of the tournament.
The senior finished her career with a school record 3,945 assists, which also ranked sixth on the Patriot League’s all-time charts.
Colgate ended the 2009 season with its third-consecutive winning season at 15-13. The Raiders return five starters and their libero for the 2010 campaign.
