Women's Soccer Selection Show Tonight

HAMILTON, N.Y. (11/9/09) - The Colgate women’s soccer team was named the Patriot League Champions yesterday afternoon, earning an automatic bid to the 2009 NCAA Tournament. The Raiders are now looking forward to this evening when they will find out which team they will face in the first round of the tournament.
The NCAA Division I women’s soccer selection show will be shown on ESPN News beginning at 8 p.m. At that time the 64-team bracket will be released as well as the location of each first-round match. The first and second rounds are scheduled for this weekend, Friday, Nov. 13 and Sunday, Nov. 15. The higher seeded team will host these first two rounds on their own campus sites.
The Colgate women’s soccer student-athletes and coaches will gather to watch the show this evening at the Colgate Inn at 7:15 and welcome all fans and supporters of the Raiders soccer program to join them in this exciting evening.
