HAMILTON, N.Y. (12/22/09) – The Colgate University football team finished ranked in both Football Championship Subdivision top-25 polls for the conclusion of the 2009 season.

Colgate finished 21st in The Sports Network poll and 20th in the FCS Coaches Poll. The Raiders finished the season with an overall record of 9-2 and league mark of 4-2. 

The Patriot League also added Holy Cross and Lafayette in the final rankings of both the major polls, marking the first time since 2005 that three Patriot League teams made it in the final top 25 rankings.
