Men's Track and Field DMR Sets School Record at IC4A Championships
BOSTON, MASS. (3/8/09)— The Colgate University men’s Distance Medley Relay team set a new school record Saturday at the IC4A Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center.  

The DMR squad of sophomores Ed Boulat (Larchmont, N.Y.), Jon Knowlton (North Salem, N.Y.), and Dan Gleason (Norwalk, Conn.) along with freshman Graham Tooker (Devon, Pa.), set a new Colgate record time of 10:00.20, more than four seconds faster then their qualifying time set exactly one month ago at the Giegengack Invitational hosted by Yale.
 
Freshman Tim Metivier (Tonawanda, N.Y.) also set a personal best and new Colgate freshman record time of 1:04.96 in 500-meter run, nearly .30 faster then his previous best set at the Patriot League Championships.
 
The Raiders kick off the outdoor season at Navy on March 28.
