GREENSBORO, N.C. (5/30/09)— Colgate University Senior Curry Knox (Seattle, Wash.) finished her career in respectable fashion during the first day of competition at the NCAA East Regional Championship at North Carolina A&T. 

Knox the 2009 Patriot League Female Track Athlete of the Year ran the 100-meter dash. Knox posted a time of 11.97, her second best of the season; she is also the only Raider in school history to break 12 seconds.

 

Knox was also the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter relay team of senior Ashley Mecone (Hopkinton, Mass.), sophomore Michele Miller (Silver Spring, Md.), junior Ashley Niness (Berwyn, Pa.), which posted a time of 47.77. The time was the Raiders second best this season.
