Colgate University Athletics

HAMILTON, N.Y. (6/10/09) —Colgate University seniors Matthew Muskin and Emily Van Wormer recently were selected to serve as athletic administrative interns for the summer. The duo will help out with various projects within the athletics department over the summer, as Colgate gets ready for the upcoming sports seasons. 

"We are really excited to have Emily and Matt working with the athletic department this summer,” Senior Associate Director of Athletics Vicky Chun said. “During their internship, they will be exposed to the various different departments within athletics and they will be actively working on marketing, sales, and compliance projects in preparation for the next Raider athletic season."

 

Muskin is a native of New York, N.Y. and is active in various activities on campus. He is a member of Theta Chi fraternity and serves as a Colgate tour guide. Majoring in English with an emphasis in literature, Muskin saw this as an opportunity to learn about working in college athletics.

 

Hailing from Wilmington, Del., Van Wormer is majoring in English and just recently returned to the states after studying abroad in Manchester, UK. She has also served as a radio host on WRCU.
