Cleveland, Ohio (6/22/09) – Colgate director of athletics Dave Roach has been chosen by the members of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) to serve as first vice-president for 2009-10.  He was elected during NACDA's 44th Annual Convention, held June 18-21 in Orlando, Fla.

, director of athletics at Florida State University, will serve as president for 2009-10. Also elected to serve NACDA for the 2009-10 term were second Vice President Dan Guerrero, director of athletics at UCLA; third Vice President Kevin Anderson, director of athletics at the United States Military Academy; and David Stair, director of athletics at Evangel University, to the fourth year of a five-year term as secretary.  
 
Executive Committee members selected include athletics directors Warde Manuel, University at Buffalo; Ed McLean, Fayetteville State University; John Scarpino, Seminole Community College; Joe Tubb, South Plains College; and John Volek, Sierra College.  Missy Conboy, deputy athletics director, University of Notre Dame; Patty Viverito, commissioner, Missouri Valley Football Conference; and Dan Beebe, commissioner, Big 12 Conference were selected as at-large representatives.
 
NACDA, now in its 45th year, is the professional and educational association for more than 6,500 college athletics administrators at more than 1,600 institutions throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. More than 2,300 athletics administrators annually attend the NACDA Convention. Additionally, NACDA administers 11 professional associations for the separate business units that report directly to the athletics directors.
