BUFFALO, N.Y. (3/12/2010) – Colgate’s Caren Guyett (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) qualified for the 2010 U.S. Openwater Swimming National Championships yesterday while competing at the 2010 Speedo Championship Series – Eastern Sectional at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center.
The junior posted a qualifying time by touching with a 16:57.17 in the 1650 free. The cut off time was 17:00.10. This performance gained her a spot in the 5,000 competition on June 6 in Long Beach, Calif.
