PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (4/25/10)— The Colgate University men’s track and field team finished 12th in the 4x800-meter relay on the final day of the Penn Relays.

Juniors Andrew Smith (York, Pa.), Jonathan Knowlton (North Salem, N.Y.), and Ed Boulat (Larchmont, N.Y.), along with sophomore Tim Metivier (Tonawanda, N.Y.) finished 12th out of 36 teams in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 7:38.04. The time is the fourth best in school history and the second best in the Patriot League this season.

The Raiders will return to action next weekend at the Patriot League Outdoor Championship hosted by Bucknell University.
