HAMILTON, N.Y. (5/19/10) —Colgate University senior captain Ian Murphy (Constantia, N.Y.) was selected to play in the annual United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association North/South Senior All-Star Game. The game will take place at Goucher College in Baltimore, Md. on Friday, May 28 at 5:30 p.m.

Murphy is the 44th Colgate player to be selected to play in North/South Classic. It marks the fourth-straight year that a Raider has been picked to participate and the fifth time since 2000.

Murphy, a two-time captain for the Raiders was fourth on the team in scoring in 2010 with 21 points and finished his career with 55 goals and 74 points. Murphy was also named to the all-Patriot League second team as sophomore after recording 24 goals and 28 points.

Murphy will join head coach Jim Nagle, who was selected to coach the Division I/II North Team.
