Natolli Leads Raiders on Final Day of PLC

LEWISBURG, Pa. (5/1/10)— The Colgate University men’s track and field team finished seventh at the Patriot League Outdoor Track and Field Championship at Bucknell. The Bison won the title with 181 points.

Senior Phil Natolli (Fayetteville, N.Y.) led the Raiders on the final day of action with a third place finish in the 400-meter hurdles. Natolli snapped the tape with a personal-record and IC4A qualifying time of 53.48, the second fastest time recorded in school history.

Juniors Andrew Smith (York, Pa.), Jonathan Knowlton (North Salem, N.Y.), and Ed Boulat (Larchmont, N.Y.), along with sophomore Tim Metivier (Tonawanda, N.Y.) finished third in the 4x800-meter relay with an IC4A qualifying time of 7:34.36. The time is also the second best in school history.

A selection of runners will continue the season next weekend at the IC4A Championship at Princeton University.
