Hartquist Named to Northeast All-Region Softball Team

HAMILTON, N.Y. (5/21/10) – Colgate sophomore Stephanie Hartquist (Homer, N.Y.) was named to the 2010 Northeast All-Region Softball Team for the first time.
Harquist, who made a transition from the outfield to third base, was named to the first team.
Hartquist finished the 2010 season with a .392 average, one homer and 39 RBI. Her 62 hits is second on Colgate’s single season list, just two shy of tying Melissa Rawson’s school record of 64 set back in 2001. Hartquist has also entered the single-season top 10 list in runs scored (39), RBI (39) and doubles (14).
