Interns
HAMILTON, N.Y. (6/11/10) —Colgate University has named three as athletic administrative interns for the summer. The trio of Lyle Tolli ’10, Evan Librizzi ’11 and Vanessa Larareo will help out with various projects within the athletics department, as Colgate gets ready for the upcoming sports seasons.

"We are really excited to have Evan, Lyle and Vanessa working with the athletic department this summer,” assistant director of athletics Shaun Richard said. "Each of these individuals bring a unique set of qualities and experience to the table which will allow us to create new projects within the community, at athletic events and within our department for the upcoming academic year."

Tolli, the 2008 Patriot League Indoor Track Scholar Athlete of the Year, finished his athletic career as a six-time member of the Raiders Academic Honor Roll and a five-time member of the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. He was also a member the Colgate Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and was active in various activities on campus.

Librizzi, of the Colgate women’s basketball team, is a two-time member of the Raiders Academic Honor Roll and is majoring in English Literature. She is also part of a team leadership group that spends time instructing gym class and reading books at the local elementary school.

Larareo, a junior at the University of Massachusetts, is studying sports management. A member of the UMass Student Assistant Athletic Development program, she has also served as an intern to the associate athletic director, while serving as a soccer camp counselor.
