Clinton Named to U23 Canadian National Team
Clinton
James Clinton
HAMILTON, N.Y. (6/29/10) – Colgate men’s rowing senior James Clinton (Vancouver, B.C.) has been named to the Canadian National Rowing Team that will compete in the Under-23 World Rowing Championships from July 22-25, in Brest, Belarus.

Clinton will be a member of the men's coxed four team along with Ronan Sabo-Walsh (University of British Columbia, B.C.), Josh Morris (University of Victoria, B.C.), Blake Parsons (Princeton University/Hanlan Boat Club, Ont.), and Michael Lewis (Brock University, Ont.).

The World Rowing Under 23 Championships are a showcase of up-and-coming athletes who are too old to compete at a junior level but are still in need of further development to rank among top senior elite rowers. With the annual participation of approximately 40 countries and 600 athletes, the world of rowing is looking forward to watching Under 23 rowers prepare for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
