Davison Named Assistant Women's Rowing Coach

HAMILTON, N.Y. (7/26/10) – Colgate University head women's rowing coach Greg Kruczynski has announced the hiring of Jaclyn Davison as assistant coach.

Davison was a four-year member of the Boston College women's varsity rowing team from 2003-07. While rowing at Boston College, Davison was a member of the Varsity 8 that placed third in the Big East Championships in 2005 and the Varsity 8 that placed third at the ACC Championships in 2006.

A native of the Philadelphia area, Davison learned to row at Conestoga High School where in her senior year she led her boat to an undefeated season winning the US Rowing Youth Invitational and competing at the Women's Henley Regatta in England.

Davison recently completed her third year at Temple University as a graduate assistant coach for the women’s rowing team, where she earned her Juris Doctorate from the Beasley School of Law.
