HAMILTON, NY (8/18/10) – The Colgate women’s lacrosse team was one of 48 teams to earn Academic Squad honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association last week.

Each school with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher earned Academic Squad honors. Hofstra University topped all schools in Division I for the 2010 season with a 3.492 GPA, while Stanford University (3.477) just edged Duke (3.471) to rank second.

Colgate was one of five Patriot League schools to make All-Academic status, joining American, Holy Cross, Lafayette and Lehigh.
