HAMILTON, N.Y. (8/26/10) – The Colgate football team will host a preseason barbecue for its season ticket holders on Friday, August 27 at 5 p.m.

“We are excited about the upcoming season and look forward to seeing all of our season ticket holders and supporters of 'gate football,” stated Colgate Director of Athletics Dave Roach. “Our student-athletes are very much appreciative of our fans.”

The Raiders open their season against Monmouth on September 4. Season tickets are on sale and can be purchased by calling the Colgate Athletic Ticket Office at (315) 228-7600 or by going online to the Colgate Athletic website at www.gocolgateraiders.com.

Fans can also follow the Raiders quest for their seventh Patriot League title through Football Game Central, a new page on the Colgate Athletic website that provides game day information throughout the season.
