Starr Rink, located in the South wing of Reid Athletic Center, has been the home of the Colgate hockey team since 1959. The entire facility underwent a complete facelift in the summer of 1990. 1997-98 was the inaugural season of varsity women's hockey at Colgate, and the team moved to Division I in 2001-02.
